Self Survey Guide
Most installations involve frame fixing
to the outer brick wall of a twin-wall with cavity arrangement
(see diagram above)
Deduction Distances;
The following deductions are from the TOTAL width or height.
With standard installations, all of the height deduction will
beat the head of the window or door. Due allowance must also
be made for any mortar bed required to the underside of the
window sill.

The
above tables show the recommended deductions for our upvc
window and door systems. Please note the differences between
white and coloured profiles: This is due to the fact that
dark coloured profiles absorb more solar radiation (heat)
and are subject to increased material expansion.
